MHS students also participate in the CAPS Advisory Program, which helps them prepare for college and the workforce by providing guidance on the necessary course work required for specific post-secondary endeavors. The faculty and staff, working as teacher advisors, work closely with students and parents on course selection during the registration process.
Of course, extracurricular activities abound at MHS. Students can participate in athletics, band, student council, the National Honor Society, and much more. Clubs such as NHS and the Beta Club allow students to participate in community service projects to aid families, individuals, and organizations across Hot Springs County.
A sign that we have posted at MHS says it all: “It’s here for the taking.” Students who are looking to grow and learn on a daily basis will thrive at Malvern High School. Our administration and faculty encourage students to be the best that they can be and take advantage of all that MHS offers them.
