In celebration of National Librarian Day, the students and staff at Wilson Intermediate showed some well-deserved love to their amazing librarian, Mrs. Olivia Martin! 💐
The whole school came together to recognize the great atmosphere she brings to the library every single day. 🍪☕ With a fancy teapot, thoughtful gestures, and plenty of gratitude, it was a joyful moment that reminded us just how special all of our librarians are to the Leopard family!
Thank you to all of our librarians, for sparking curiosity and encouraging imagination with our students through the power of reading! 📖🧡

🎉 We have another new member of the Leopard Family to share with you! 🎉
Please help us give a warm Malvern welcome to Jacxeni "Jackie" Tapia-Solorio, who has recently joined the district as an ESOL Paraprofessional! 🐆
Jacxeni is a proud Malvern High School graduate (Class of 2017) and is excited to return to her hometown school in a new role. After working at Southern Bancorp Bank, she’s stepping into the world of education for the first time — and sees this as a great opportunity to explore a future in teaching! 🍎✨
Originally from California, Jacxeni brings a creative spark with her love for painting, crafting, and dancing. Her favorite quote says it all:
“Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.”
— Winnie the Pooh
Fun fact: Her sister is our wonderful Athletics Secretary, Mrs. Drina Saling! They are such a blessing to have in our Leopard Family and we love both of them so very much!
We’re so excited to have you on board, Jacxeni! 🧡🖤

🧡 Meet Mackenzy Harmon! 🖤
We’re excited to welcome Mackenzy Harmon to Malvern Elementary as a Special Education Paraprofessional!
Mrs. Harmon is originally from Glen Rose and a 2021 graduate of Glen Rose High School. She comes to us from Cornerstone Children’s Center, bringing with her a year and a half of experience working with children—and a lifelong dream of becoming a teacher.
She shared a few wonderful words with us about joining the team at Malvern Elementary:
“I couldn’t think of a better place to get experience than the school I loved as a child.”
When she’s not in the classroom, she enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and their two dogs. Her favorite verse, Ephesians 4:32, reminds us to lead with kindness and compassion—something she brings to MES every day.
Mrs. Harmon shared that being at MES already feels like being part of a big family—and we couldn’t be happier she’s here. 🐆
💬 Drop a warm welcome for her in the comments below! 🧡

🎉 Welcome (back) to the Leopard Family, Mrs. Brumfield! 🧡🖤
We’re excited to welcome Kelsey Alyson Brumfield as the new Middle School Counselor at Malvern Middle School!
Kelsey has spent 7 years in education and previously worked in both Malvern and Lakeside. In fact, Malvern was her first real teaching home — and it clearly left a mark. Even after she left for a few years, her heart never left our Leopard family. She was with us last year as the Middle School Math Teacher, but she has transitioned to a new and exciting role!
Originally from Arkadelphia and a graduate of Booneville High School (Class of 2009), Mrs. Brumfield enjoys spending time with her family and pets. One of her favorite quotes is:
“They may forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel.”
Fun fact: Kelsey met her husband, Coach Brumfield, during her first year teaching at Malvern — and this year, she officially became Mrs. Brumfield! Congratulations! 💍
We’re so glad to have her back and stepping into this new role! Help us welcome her in the comments! 👏

A big thank you to COL(R) Patrick Daniel and members of the Malvern High School JROTC for spending time with our 5th and 6th grade students today! 🇺🇸

🐐🚜 Field Trip Fun with Mrs. Sharp’s 2nd Grade! 🐾🎉
Last week, Mrs. Sharp’s class took a wild and wonderful trip to Funny Farm, and it looks like they had an unforgettable day! 🧡
From petting goats and holding baby animals 🐐💞 to ziplining through the farm and even meeting a zebra (yes, really! 🦓) — these students got the full Funny Farm experience! They even took turns sitting on a tractor like true farmers 🚜💪
So many smiles, new experiences, and memories made — we love seeing our students explore, learn, and have fun together outside the classroom!

💼🌟 Happy Administrative Professionals Day! 🌟💼
Today’s all about celebrating the people who keep our schools running behind the scenes — our amazing administrative professionals! From juggling schedules and answering phones to being a friendly face in the front office, they do it all… and then some. 💻📞🗂️
To our hardworking admin staff across the Malvern School District — thank you for your patience, your organization, your kindness, and for always being the calm in the chaos. 🧡
It's important to recognize that you’re often the first person people see when they walk through our doors, and the impact you make is HUGE!
If you see one of these awesome folks today, take a second to tell them thanks or drop a quick note of appreciation. They deserve it! 💐

🌎🧡 Happy Earth Day & School Bus Driver Appreciation Day! 🚌🌎
Today, we celebrate our planet and the incredible drivers who safely transport hundreds of students each day — no matter the weather! 🚌💨
𝐓𝐨 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭 𝐛𝐮𝐬 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬:
Thank you for your early mornings, careful driving, kind hearts, and unwavering dedication to our students. You are essential to the success of our schools, and we appreciate you more than words can say!
We may have posted this at 6:30 this morning, but it’s worth noting that most of our bus drivers were already out on the road by then — making sure every student gets to school safely and on time. Their role in the success of our school district truly cannot be overstated.
Let’s all do something kind for the Earth today — recycle, reduce, reuse — and if you see one of our awesome bus drivers, give them a wave, a thank you, or even a note of appreciation. They truly deserve so much more than we can give them! 💌
Who was your favorite bus driver growing up? Tell us about them below :)
