🐐🚜 Field Trip Fun with Mrs. Sharp’s 2nd Grade! 🐾🎉 Last week, Mrs. Sharp’s class took a wild and wonderful trip to Funny Farm, and it looks like they had an unforgettable day! 🧡 From petting goats and holding baby animals 🐐💞 to ziplining through the farm and even meeting a zebra (yes, really! 🦓) — these students got the full Funny Farm experience! 🌎🧡 Happy Earth Day & School Bus Driver Appreciation Day! 🚌🌎 Today, we celebrate our planet and the incredible drivers who safely transport hundreds of students each day — no matter the weather! 🚌💨 𝐓𝐨 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭 𝐛𝐮𝐬 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬: Thank you for your early mornings, careful driving, kind hearts, and unwavering dedication to our students. You are essential to the success of our schools, and we appreciate you more than words can say! We may have posted this at 6:30 this morning, but it’s worth noting that most of our bus drivers were already out on the road by then — making sure every student gets to school safely and on time. Their role in the success of our school district truly cannot be overstated. ♻️🎨 Congratulations to our E-Waste Art Contest Winners! 🎨♻️ We’re thrilled to announce the winners of the E-Waste Art Contest, where creativity met sustainability in the most amazing way! 🏆 Grand Prize Winner: Shian McJunkin with her breathtaking piece, “Star of the Sea” — a jellyfish crafted from the discarded parts of an old Roku TV! Her stunning creation earned her a $100 prize, sponsored by Optimum, and is now proudly displayed in the hallway at Wilson Intermediate! 🥈 Runner-Up: Sadie Jones, who created an eye-catching display highlighting how e-waste recycling can make a difference. Sadie was awarded $50 for her thoughtful and impactful work! No problem. 📍 No tryouts — anyone can wrestle. 📍 Join any time of year — we encourage you to try it out for a week or two and see if it’s for you! 📍 We have boys & girls teams, and yes — girls wrestling is the fastest-growing sport in the nation. 📍 Just this January, Girls Wrestling was officially voted in as the newest NCAA-sanctioned sport — meaning the first-ever Women’s National Championship will take place in Winter 2026. This sport is growing like wildfire! 🔥 💪 Wrestling is the ONLY high school combat sport, and it builds strength, grit, and confidence — all while helping you earn scholarships for college. 👉 You’ll be paired with others in your weight class — any size, any shape, anyone can wrestle. 🏈 Football players — listen up! 🔍💡 March I Spy Tank Winners – BETA Edition! 💡🔍 Our awesome Wilson BETA students took on the March I Spy Tank challenge, and this time the hunt was all about women inventors! From chocolate chip cookies to lifeboats and Monopoly houses, they searched for creations by brilliant women throughout history. 🎉 Shoutout to Chevy, Isaak, Betsy, Christian, and Elle — each only missed one item! And a huge congrats to Ember, our grand prize winner, who found every single one — including the tricky I Spy Tank-as-an-aquarium! 🐠🧠 Way to go, BETA students! Alternative Bus Routes Update: Bus #4, Bus #46 and Bus #52 Roads have been repaired and cleared for travel. These routes will return to regular stops at their regular time starting Monday morning. Route 60 If you live in Antioch you need to meet at the gravel parking lot at Social Hill Exit, bus stop times 6:50am and 4:10pm. Transportation Department will update this part of Route 60 as soon as the bridge is ready and safe for the bus to travel across it. If you live on Hwy 84 between Loves Gas Station and the Oak Grove Store your bus stop will return to its regular stop at its regular time starting Monday morning.
