🐣 Hands-On Learning in Physical Science! 🦅 Last Friday, our high school Physical Science students had a special hands-on experience! Earlier this semester, they studied Matter in Organisms, exploring how energy and matter move through ecosystems. As part of their learning, they have been following the Big Bear Valley Live Eagle Cam, watching a pair of wild eagles raise their newly hatched eaglets in real time! To bring the lesson even closer to home, their teacher brought in some bantam chicks from her own flock, giving students a chance to interact with them up close! For some, it was their very first time handling baby chicks. The excitement was contagious, and even Mrs. Ray’s and Mr. Devore’s classes joined in on the fun! The Malvern School District will be in session tomorrow at regular time tomorrow, February 21. Additionally, basketball games at Mills have been postponed, girls will play Saturday at 2:00 PM at Mills. The boys game has been canceled.
